Jupiter School Refurbishment Project

Project Details
City of London School for Girls is an independent school in the Barbican in the City of London. The school is for girls aged 7 to 18. It is the partner school of the all-boys City of London School and the City of London Freemen’s School. The school was founded in 1894 and is a listed building.
Jupiter worked very closely with Sykes & Son to deliver the project in the 6 weeks summer holiday school shutdown.
- Small power and main hall lighting
- Corridor and office small power
- New main distribution board system
- Electric heaters to offices
- Testing and commissioning
Outcome:
All the works were carried out to our usual high standard but being a listed building, we did have to overcome a few obstacles regarding the structure of the building. This was a 6-week project and required a project manager and 6 engineers for the duration. Further works were then planned for the following half term.
